BAFTA Goes to the Arab World - On Tour

BAFTA's celebration of Arab cinema goes on tour in Liverpool with a series of regional events and screenings.

Arab World: Dubai International Film Festival BAFTA in association with the Dubai International Film Festival ( DIFF ) hosted BAFTA GOES TO THE ARAB WORLD on 11-14 July 2008 to celebrate Arab cinema and its unique contribution to world cinema.

In recognition of this year’s European and Arab cultural capitals - Liverpool and Damascus - BAFTA Goes To The Arab World is going on tour to Liverpool as part of the Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival. The event also features Syrian films by two of Syria’s most eminent directors.
